I just turned 29

Hi everyone! My name is Jen and I just turned 29. I have been over weight since I was atleast 14. I have tried all sorts of diets and yea I have lost weight but didn't stick with them to long and just gained the weight back. So now heres the plan. . .I would like to lose atleast 60 pounds before my 30th birthday. I don't think that is such a hard goal, just need to motivation to stick with it. Well, here we go . . .

    Welcome and best of luck. You will find great tips on the message boards. For me, this is a lifestyle change - not a diet. I know that I have to do this forever. Calories in (eat) - calories out (exercise). Of course the amount of each of those will change when I get to my goal - but it is still forever! Take care to lose 2-3 lbs a week max so you keep it off! I, like you, have tried every diet in the book and put it all back on and more.
  • You can totally do that. I've lost 56.2lbs so far and it's taken me 7 months, but I have had the odd planned day (or week) off here and there.
