I was guilty of this once and a fellow MFPer went out of her way to inform me via PM. I knew the difference and man, was I embarrassed. True story.

I cry every time I see this. It's basic English.
    Here's a tip for remembering:

Loose - I have a loose shirt or loose skin. Why? I have too much of it! More cloth/skin mean more o's!
Lose - I want to lose weight. I want fewer o's.

    Srsly.

You should probably steer clear of the rest of the Internet, less you witness things like there, their, and they're.

I recently had a Jehovah's Witness drop by out of the blue to teach me about how "Amstradamous" was all wrong with his predictions of the future.

Peeves me too. Don't even get me started on "I couldn't care less" vs. "I could care less".
