I read today that we should limit our added sugar intake to around 10% of total calories or even to a limit of 100 calories. Anybody know how to figure out the calorie content of the sugar in something when the label lists it in grams. Thanks for any help. I am a sugar freak and could probably lies easier if I gave it up, so need to figure this out.

Refined table sugar is generally around 4 calories per gram so just times however many grams of sugar there is by 4.0
