How do you keep from going over on your sodium? I know it sounds dumb, but I can't seem to get a handler on it. I eat mostly vegetarian and add no salt to my food. I to goes up to 3500 sometimes.

Do you eat a lot of processed foods?

Some beverages unknowingly have a fair amount of sodium in them.

Your diary isn't open so I'm just guessing.

I consume a lot on purpose as do many people who get a lot of aerobic exercise. Unless you are sedentary, have high blood pressure or have been advised by your doctor do you have a specific reason to limit sodium?

I limit processed foods and I try to prepare my food from whole ingredients. When I add salt to my cooking, I use Morton's Lite Salt (50/50 sodium nitrate and potassium chloride) or No Salt. It tastes exactly the same, but they're salt alternatives that are pretty popular for a reason.

I eat literally no processed foods. Everything I eat is either from our garden, canned or fresh from a market. No I don't have high blood pressure, just know that 2500 is supposed to be a daily limit. The little meat I do eat is rage fed with no preservatives or antibiotics.
