Deficit, maintenance or surplus?

Basics are: I'm a 27 y/o female, 5'5 and 123lbs right now. I'm almost finished with the basic level of You Are Your Own Gym by Mark Lauren and starting to see definition, I also walk the dog for about an hour a day when she's at mine (stays with my parents sometimes due to work) and hoping to start kickboxing lessons again.
Want to maintain my weight but have the last layer of fat to lose from my stomach (everywhere else is fine!), do I need to eat at a deficit, maintenance or surplus? Just need a little guidance really. Weight has stabalised and legs/arms are doing well in terms of definition, it's just my middle area is ever so slightly 'squishy'!

If you are still trying to lose some fat, then you will need to be in deficit to do that.
Have you been in deficit?
How long have you been in deficit?0 -
i would go with a small deficit - set MFP to lose 0.5lb per week, or TDEE -10% - to keep losing fat and ensure you're getting enough protein for muscle retention.0
