Satisfied all day with your eating & 3am you want a snack?

I've been fairly satisfied with my eating during the day but want a snack at 3am. Am I not eating enough of the right foods? Any ideas? THANKS

  • is there any particular reason you're up at 3am? as in, are you working at that time?

    if not, get to sleep! If you stay awake you're body will think you have to be therefore seek some fuel to keep you going.

  • Yes, I work the night shift but usually only wind up eating 2 healthy meals a day. I haven't been snacking in between & I've lost 8 pounds in 3 weeks. Once I eat a couple of snack size M&Ms with peanuts I'm fine & my craving is curbed until the next night. I usually can't sleep until 5 am.
