Making this tonight.
I could only find the picture, not the original recipe but it looks to me like:
Bread dough
Pepperoni
Ground Beef
Cheddar Cheese
Veggies (I'm gonna use bell peppers and spinach)
Not sure what spices to use yet, open to suggestions. I'm thinking basil because I have a basil plant in season but I'm not sure...
Here is the recipe for my homemade bread dough. I use this dough for everything, even crescent rolls. Very simple.
3 1/2 cups flour
2 1/4 tsp active yeast
1/3 cup warm water
3/4 cup warm milk
1 1/2 tsp sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
4 tbsp. butter, melted
Mix flour, salt and sugar.
Mix milk and water, dissolve yeast in milky water.
Add to flour mixture, add eggs. Mix. Add butter and knead until dough is smooth and soft. Place in a glass bowl, cover with a dry towel and let rise 1 hour.
Divide dough into two equal parts and roll out into a square or rectangle shape. Lay filling out evenly and roll up. Let rise another 20 mins.
Bake at 400F for 14 minutes.
**Make sure any meat you put in as filling is already cooked**

Gotta add mushrooms, jalapenos, maybe swap pepperoni and ground beef for chicken or turkey breast.0
