38 lbs lost.... but last 12 lbs are stuck... help!!!!

I have been on a weight loss and self confidence journey for the last 3 years. Started Jan 2011 at 178.8 and today Feb 2014 I am 142. I really really want to be 128.8... That would be a 50 lbs weight loss but I have hit a plateau. And I am stuck.

I have been doing paleo on and off for the last 8 months (as well as crossfit for the last year, and running 3 to 4 days week for the last month). Though I have liked paleo, I think I need to change things up to get these last dozen or so lbs off. I was thinking of following the CARD CYCLING PLAN. Wanted to know if anyone has had success with that eating philosophy.

And any success stories of how to get off a plateau would be appreciated!!!!

    The last few times I've stopped losing weight, I've just stuck with my diet until the weight has started coming off again, hasn't usually lasted more then 5 or 6 weeks. I've been too busy with other things to worry about changing up my diet or exercise routine. How long haven't you lost for?

    It been a few weeks.. well at one point i lose 2 and then they were back a day later or so. It is quite strange.
