Someone else looking for suggestions

Found my TDEE using http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/#projectedweightloss , also doing 1 session of 30 day shred as exercise. Does that fall into "light exercise"? Or should I be doing No more trouble zones, or Banish fat boost metabolism? Half way through 30 day shred, lost 1 pound, gained 2. I know I can't possibly gaining that much muscle, I doubt fat, but wonder if it is actually enough exercise. Suggestions please. Diary is open to look. Not every day is a cheese burger ( just trying to use up the ground beef and buns), and yes I do use a food scale scale. Job is work from home on the computer. No other exercise besides 30 day shred 6 days a week. I feel like I am eating too much because I can have a few cookies and chocolate in a day and just hit my goal.

Nothing wrong with cookies or chocolate. Restricted calories does not equal restricted foods. Fit the foods you love into your calorie goal.
That being said;
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal, and
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal.
You have 16 lbs to go according to your ticker, so be prepared to readjust your calorie goal when you hit 15 lbs to go.0 -
Thank you! Sometimes we just need someone to tell us we are doing it right. Do you think the exercise is enough or too little for my TDEE?0

Should be fine. You can always increase your exercise when you feel comfortable. Exercise is more for fitness anyway. But yeah, 30 day shred is only like 30 minutes long, and it doesn't really burn THAT many calories, so I would say it fits the light exercise category.0 -
just popping in to agree with everything Ninkyou has said (and not just because I wanted to stare at that cupcake avatar a little longer...)
You absolutely can eat sweets in moderation and still lose weight. If I couldn't have sweets I would probably keel over and die. for real.
Also dont worry too much about weird jumps in the scale, they can be caused by your *ahem* cycle, the salty dinner you had last night, your muscles swelling from the unfamiliar workout (I always ALWAYS am up about a pound and a half the first week after I change my workout routine. I stress, and then I remind myself its normal and stay off the scale for another week and like magic the increase is gone)0 -
Thank you both for the help. And that cupcake does look yummy!0
