Hi All

I am new to this site after finding it on Itunes, i am finding it really easy to use and all the food's i have eaten so far have been on here which is good.

I have a office job so am sitting down most of the day which is not good. I do try and go for a walk on my lunch hour but that is not always possible. I do go on a Flabelos machine (a power plate) for 10 mintues first thing in the morning to get me started.

I am how ever looking at other excerise to do in my lunch hour now the days are getting colder and starting to rain more.
Any Ideas??

Hi joined today and also felt needed quick lunchtime workout so joined the ladies gym called "curves" it circuit training based you pay monthly and can use as many times a week as you like, no sweaty men..lol and they weigh and measure and set you goals. It is a franchise so you should be able to find one in your area just google "curves" and see, hope that helps..

Basic calisthenics (jumping jacks, push ups, etc.) or things like a quick set of lunges or squats are great calorie burners and muscle builders you can do anywhere and only takes a few minutes...5 mins here and 5 mins there can really add up to a decent calorie burn at the end of the day if you can't fit in a regular workout. I started out doing just 5 minutes most mornings of either calisthenics or jumping on my mini tramp and before I knew it my energy started increasing and i found myself wanting to get up earlier to get in a few more mins - now I do 30-40 mins 5x's a week and I've never felt better or had more energy. Hope this helps and good luck!

Hiya - we had a fitness coach come in this week (I have an office job too), and he said if you stand instead of remaining seated when you're on the phone you can burn 5 times more calories - so there's one to get you started - although you'd look a bit weird! I've been doing it because everyone thinks I'm weird anyway in our office!
The power plate is fab - we have one in our gym and I love it - I'm a big yoga fan as it's great for strength building, cardio, and it focuses your mind.

I like the sweaty men - that's half the fun of going to the gym
