I just can't work out what's going on :(

Hi Everyone.

Need a bit of advice. I was doing really well losing weight but for the past year, I've stayed the same!!! I want to lose almost another 2 stone but it just won't shift. I've started going back to the gym from January and go most days. Have changed up my routine to so am doing more weight than cardio but still doing cardio but no weight change.

Have been eating really healthy and plan my meals every week and stick to it. I also measure my measurements and body fat and no change. What is going on? Any ideas? It's really starting to get me down and am starting to struggle hiding how much it's getting to me.

Anyone had anything similar? Would love your input x

what's your calories goal? what's your TDEE? Do you weigh your food?
  • My calorie goal is 1200 a day and I eat around that most days. My TDEE says around 2000. Not sure that's right and tbh I don't have the time or am hungry enough to eat the amount of food 2000 calories is worth.

    I don't weigh my food no/

you're probably eating more than you think.

set MFP tol lose 1lb per week (so you get more than 1200 cals) and eat back some of your exercise cals, but make sure you weigh and measure EVERYTHING. You also may want to look at setting your macros to 40/30/30. if you're doing strength training the extra protein will help maintain your muscle mass.

Hey, I would try weighing your food and see if that helps. I find if I don't weigh my foods I underestimate and go over my allowance.
