Pure Whey Protein vs Whey Protein Isolate?

I'm interested in knowing what the differences are between Pure Whey Protein (concentrate) and Whey Protein Isolate.

I know the basic macro balance is more protein, less carbs and fat in an Isolate than in a Concentrate. I've done some online research but I'm still a bit confused. Is that really the ONLY difference?

I currently buy Pure Whey Protein (flavoured) which has about 24g of protein, 4g of carbs and 2.5g of fat to every 30g scoop. I usually have one to two 60g shakes a day (depending on workouts, time etc). At the moment I'm struggling with my macros: usually with not enough protein and over my carb count. I've tried cutting my carbs down but seriously: two shakes, a banana and one slice of wholewheat toast and I'm already over!!

Obviously, this makes an Isolate sound ideal for my needs but I just wanted to check before I go ahead and buy it, am I missing something here?

    if you're not lactose intolerant and not worried about the minimal extra carbs, go for just good old whey.

    Whey isolate is great just a bit more expensive, and it doesn't nutritionally offer anything more, apart from I believe it's faster absorbing into your body.
