Really confused - Foods

I eat relatively healthy 5-6 days a week:

Breakfast: Cereal
Lunch: Chicken/Fish with roast potatoes and vegetables
Dinner: Peanut butter toast/sandwich
Snacks: Fruit, Crackers, Peanuts, sometimes chocolate (not the best thing)

I am looking to lose my belly fat which means I'm still trying to lose weight and that is occuring by a calorie deficit. I am also exercising and have just started the 30 Day Shred. The only thing I really want to get rid of is my belly as everything else seems to be slimmed and getting stronger but spot reduction doesn't exist, my question is does eating fast food once a week (within your calorie deficit) hinder the weight loss process? I've searched a lot of threads and it's contradicting advice which has left me confused.

Why would it? You're still at a calorie deficit and as long as you get your proteins and go to gym, nothing should stop you from losing fat.

I know it's been asked a million times but I was reading up on Jillian's stuff as I've started doing her routine - sodas and fast food doesn't seem to be allowed at all(?)

Well Jillian doesn't allow a lot of things. But you can always find a diet that doesn't allow certain things. There's not just ONE way to lose weight though. Stay within your calories and you'll be fine. The most that will happen is you'll have some water retention from the sodium in the fast food.

Thank you, guess I need to be patient and have faith in completing the programme.

As long as you are still at a calorie deficit for the week, no. I eat fast food probably 2 times a week.

Yup calorie deficit is still there but I thought it may hinder the progress of doing 30 Day Shred which I don't know why I thought so as I didn't overthink it doing FitnessBlender routines which are similar, just over thinking it. I shall enjoy then.
