    Mediocrity. The ceremony would be tremendously "meh". The spectators would indifferently golf-clap as I accept my unexceptional achievement with tear-brimmed eyes, stammering a drawn-out 'thank you' to myself for never being the best me I can be, before forgetting how to walk and falling down the flight of stairs, shattering the medal of gold-painted glass into dozens of little mirrors that reflect back to me all of my broken hopes and dreams; both horrifying and magnificent as the shimmers of sunlight dance off the tears that fall onto the broken embodiment of my failures.

    just kidding - I'd get gold for watching hockey religiously.
