Which way is better? Reps & sets question!

I have been doing 12 reps and go down my list of strength moves 3 times. Would it be more beneficial to do all 3 sets at the same time with a short break before moving on to the next move?
I hope this question isn't confusing.

not confusing at all. you do 3 set for 12 reps on all your strength moves, but you are doing 1 set of each like a circuit and repeating the circuit 3 times by the sounds of it. i know lots of people that do it like that and it works for them, but for myself, i like to do the main lifts(big 4- bench, squat, deadlift, overhead press) as their own sets with 1-12 minutes breaks between sets. the time is all based on what kind of weight im doing. the heavier, the longer the rest time. after that i will super-set a couple lifts together with a max of 90 seconds rest between sets. hope this helps.0
