Hi all,

I have long wanted to do the walk am hoping to finally do it this summer just wondering if anyone else here has done it, and can give me some tips/advice?

    I'll save this for later. Never heard of it, but always wanted to go to Scotland, so this will be top of my list.

    Plan how much you're going to walk each day and then book hostels along the way in advance. Also use one of the companies that collect your bags and deliver to the next stop on the route. It means when you're walking you are only carrying essentials and not everything you need for the week. Remember to take light waterproofs and a camera - the scenery is stunning! Have fun!

    Fujiko - this is a treat I have been promising myself for over 15 years! you should def check it out.

    Thanks for the advice Bonnie will def look into booking accommodation & the carrying service.
