1800 sounds more reasonable.
Generally the less you have to lose, the slower you want to lose it.
I'd be tempted to try and go for something like a 333 calorie deficit - that will take you a total of just over 2 months to lose it, but will hopefully mean less muscle loss.0 -
I think we run during the winter, to keep going. This is my first year of winter running. Bad weather is WI has kept me indoors more than I would like, except for races. I really get a kick out of seeing how may crazy Wisconsinites show up for races in single digit weather. Leads to lots of camaraderie.
I'm now training for a 1/2 in May- so far just done 4 5Ks since Nov. Not really looking forward to increasing distance in the cold. Last 1/2 was my first, and it was 3 years ago and I had been training that summer for a sprint tri, so didn't have to start from scratch like this time. Look forward to here about how you are doing.
