New here, just saying hi

I'm new here, signed up a long time ago but never really did much with this account. Now I would like to kick my own butt into gear and figured I should make a real effort to improve my health. I am on disability because of chronic pain/endometriosis and really need to start moving again and watching my diet (calorie wise). I had been doing great a few years back before my last surgery, and then I kind of slid into a rut for 3 years. Eep! My biggest problem lately has been severe fatigue that isn't iron level or thyroid related (I got BW done), so I'm hoping that initially, short brisk walks and small yoga/mat exercise sessions will nudge my energy up so I can commit to doing workouts the way I used to and build up my core strength again. I've been eating pretty clean for the last 4 weeks just to "detox" after the holidays. Because I have endo, my (water) weight fluctuates big time depending on how much inflammation I have, which in turn makes me look a bit pregnant. A big motivator for me to want to drop 20-25 pounds is so that my inflammation is easier to disguise, not to mention the endorphins from exercise ought to help control my pain a bit once I work through the initial pain spikes that come whenever I start to work out with regularity.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and hopefully I'm able to stick with both my exercise plan and using this site as a means of holding myself accountable. I've been surfing the site all afternoon and have found some really useful information.

Cheers guys
