How much love for fit people?

I feel like the majority of Americans get more enjoyment out of watching people who put themselves in bad positions, and then diet and exercise out of it.

I've always been in decent shape. I work out HARD. I get little results here and there. I don't have a dramatic weight loss pic where I lost 100 lbs. I gain and lose 20 lbs during bulk and cut phases. Would you guys find motivation from before and after pics? Or is it not even worthwhile?

I was going to the gym located at my apartment's main office and the property manager said,"I don't know why you need to work out. You are so fit!"... Ummm.

I occasionally get crap for working out and counting calories/nutrient, because people think I am too thin to do these things. It is mostly for counting calories "obsessively" as people say. I have learned through lots of cycles of gain and loss that if I want to maintain I have to count calories. In my case it is not a sign of anorexia. So, I agree with you. I don't think I should be sneered at because I recognized my unhealthy lifestyle early when I was on the very low end of overweight BMI, and then chose to take action before my weight and sloth go out of control. It doesn't make for a good story, but hell, I am way better off then the average American, so I'll take it. And I don't mean any disrespect to anyone who gained and lost a lot of weight--that may be me some day--I don't judge.

I'm in the same boat. I say if you bust your *kitten* for it, share your success. I'm posting a bikini pic for my 34th birthday next month. : )
