New and looking for support!

Hi there, I just joined MFP again and I'm look for people to share my weight loss journey with :) I had another account on here before that I used on and off around a time where I developed an eating disorder. When I logged back on, many of my friends had either disappeared or had those same unhealthy habits. I decided to just start a new account so I can start fresh. I'm on Weight Watchers as well, but I just like keeping track of my calories and WW doesn't base things off of calories.

  • I did WW years ago but stopped when Fruits became free... because they are not free :) I think WW went from a good tool to something more about keeping members paying dues. Calories, Fat, Carbs, Protein... they don't lie.
  • I see what you're saying! Fruits being free does bother me some, and that's part of the reason why I decided to start tracking everything here so I can see exactly how many calories, carbs, etc. I am putting in my body. But I've had success with WW so far- I lost 17 pounds in about 5 weeks :)

    The biggest thing that helped me was dancing. My wife and I started ballroom dancing and the weight fell off. We were dancing three nights a week, for about 6 to 8 hours (total) a week. We have two kids now, so going out like that is really not possible.
