Hey community,
I have been eating well and and going to the gym three times a week spread out to give my body rest in between workouts because I do strength training as well as cardio.
Is it okay to run everyday or would I lose too much weight too fast? (I am afraid of loose skin)
I was 264 now I'm 252. I am 5'3 and I just want to run because now I am feeling relaxed if I do it. (even if it's not for a long time! I still jog or keep walking for atleast 45 minutes)
Thanks everyone!

I've lost weight in the past, a lot of it. Loose skin tends to draw itself up after awhile. It took me two years to really notice that most of my loose skin was pretty much back where it should be. I would not be afraid. Just drink lots of water and don't lose too fast. Running is difficult for me right now as I am 5 ft. 11 inches tall and carry 279 pounds. In another 40 pounds I might take a little jog but right now its gentle walking.
I wish you luck and in time you will see the difference. I am using lots of moisturizer too for the loose skin.:smooched:0 -
I've been doing a LOT of walking (I don't like running) and my dieting for 7 months and have lost 81# so far. I have now realized I am accumulating the loose skin. I've been doing some reading, and some of the advise is for the dry brushing, exfoliating and a good moisturizer. It was a choice between coconut oil and cocoa moisturizer. Sounds like a good one with vitamin c, e and a with collagen is the ticket. So the last is the one I got. I just started the whole regimen so can't say if it works or not. But from what I've read, it seems to be what is recommended. I guess it can't hurt?? we'll see. Just an idea for you to consider, or at least read up on it on the 'net. good luck!!0

I don't do cardio every day anymore, but I did for a while (elliptical machine) with no negative effects.0
