Hey ya'll I was just wondering what everyone eats for snacks in between meals? I've been eating those 100 calorie curves bars, but sometimes they don't do the trick and I'm starving when its time to eat my meal. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions of any snacks that are more filling, but not too high calorie? Haha, it might be impossible.

I'm a total munchie freak! I get pretzels/chips/snacks from Better Balance. They're usually about 120 calories a bag & they satisfy me crunchy/munchy needs.0

Eat apples or carrots...they take a long time to chew and they are full of fiber, so you'll feel like you've actually eaten something:laugh:
Drink water too, it helps you feel full....I know it helps me0 -
Thank you for the suggestions0

I eat grapes or sugar free popsicles. Also La Tortilla Factory - Whole Wheat Low-Carb/High Fiber Original Flavor Tortilla - they are 50 calories each and good. Stuff them with turkey, turkey patrami, lettuce or whatever. Makes a low calorie snack or meal.0

I like a variety of snacks, raw cauliflower and celery with 2tablespoons of light ranch veggi dip, that's my sit in front of the tv snack. Then I like the jello sugar free packs of 10 calories with a dip of cool whip fat free, I peel and slice an apple with it and top with cinnamon. I also like the Carmel corn flavored, whole grain rice cake 50 calories.0

I like to have light string cheese, cottage cheese, fruit, SF/FF jello, and, of course, light POPCORN (with a diet soda). I try to make sure my snacks have two very important ingredients: fiber & protein. They keep me fuller longer. I haven't found a "snack bar" out there that does the trick for me - I'm always hungry within an hour or so.
Be sure your drinking plenty of water. I like to use the Crystal Light packs in my water when I have a snack so that it feels like I am getting fuller than I really am. Heehee!
Good luck! :flowerforyou:0 -
fruits - especially bananas and apples with peanut butter
wheat thins with hummus or Laughing Cow cheese
hard boiled eggs
South Beach diet snack bars
pretzel sticks
yogurt
pudding snacks/jello snacks
a small bowl of cereal...
I love snacks! sometimes I make meals of just a bunch of "snacks"0 -
I snack on yogurt, mini rice cakes and pretzles. Alot of times, I'll eat 1/2 serving of the rice cakes or pretzles after lunch so then I can have the other 1/2 later.0

Fiber One Oats and Chocolate or Oats and Peanut Butter bars are awesome, and high in fiber. I also love Wholly Guacamole 100 calorie snack packs with carrot sticks for a healthy, low cal snack. Also, apples with almond butter, Luna bars, yogurt, Laughing Cow cheese wedge with wasa crackers, Quaker Mini Delights, and Amy's shepherd's pie or mexican tamale pie are delicious, filling, and only 150 calories.0
