Hi guys,

I am so thankful to God for this success, I haven't excersizes in about 2 weeks, lack of motivation and feeling down. I have made great progress but some how just stopped. I was sitting down today and God gave me the thought of, why am I letting all my hard work go to waste.

I have a treadmill I bought from. China for $150. I have never run more than 2 minutes without getting exhausted and bored. But today, I had some sort of will to just run until I can't breath any more, until my body can't do it anymore and not my mind.

So, I got on, walked for about 30 secs, and thought, don't walk just get on with it. I started running at 10.0, which I think is 10 mph.
I got to 5 minutes! I wasn't dying and I was out of breath but I felt no need to stop, it felt great, so I pushed for 10 minutes, listening to some Christian music by Hillsong, my chest and everything started to ache, I was waiting to hit that stop button at 10 minutes to feel proud of it. 10 minutes came and I thought NO! I have more! I got to 15 minutes, by that time I was starting to feel dizzy lol.

15 MINUTES! Praise God! That is the longest I have run in my entire life! I am going to do it everyday.

And to my surprise, I burnt 163 cals!

Wohooooo

I am happy for you that you chose to be active. Activity is better than inactivity!

However, please take it easy on yourself. I don't think that running until your chest aches is a good idea. Easy does it. If you set the speed lower you will be able to run for a longer time and build up your cardiovascular endurance.

Good luck with your quest to be more active.
