At weight goal - strength training/cardio and calories

Hi all,
I'm pretty much at the weight I want to be (5'3 105lbs) but am not the shape I want to be. I have very little fat up top but quite large thighs and bum for my size, so am out of proportion. Up until now I've been doing lots of cardio (body combat, running, dance and insanity dvds) and netting 1200 calories per day, but I'm conscious that I don't want to lose any more weight and I think I need to change my regime.
I've booked three personal trainer sessions for next week and asked to focus on strength training - we're doing an hour focusing on the legs/bum, then an hour on arms and an hour on back/chest. I'm then hoping to repeat these three sessions each week, and then do a couple of days of cardio (as I'm training to do my first 10k in May - am currently running 8k fairly comfortably so don't need to do extensive training).
I'm a bit nervous about upping my net calories as I still have fat to lose around my legs/bum but I am happy to put on weight as long as it's not fat! What would you recommend in terms of calories? I know 1470 (net) is about my maintenance, but I'm not sure if eating maintenance would enable me to get rid of the unwanted fat, or whether I should have less or even more to build muscle.
Would appreciate any advice!
Thanks
