Back of my ankles.

The back of my ankles are getting rubbed by my shoes and getting a bit torn up. My socks go over the top of my shoes, but that does not seem to be enough protection. Maybe this cold weather is part of the reason? Dry skin I'm sure isn't helping. Does anybody else have this problem?
Would wearing an Ace ankle bandage help? Any other suggestions or comments?
Thanks!

Moleskin - you can get it at any drugstore, even grocery stores & Target. Just put a piece on the areas that are rubbing and it helps a lot. But maybe your shoes don't fit you properly? If you can't get fitted at a running store, there are also different ways to lace your shoes (try Google and You Tube) bc I can't explain how to do it well!0
