sternum/upper back pain

Does anyone know if moderate-severe upper back pain could cause sternum pain as well? Ive been experiencing this for the past several days. I thought it'd go away but it hasn't yet. I did several HIITs in a row and am thinking maybe this is why? Anyone have any experience with this simultaneous pain?

I think any physiological pain has to be inspected in person. Is the pain in the muscle, nerves, or joints? The only thing I can think of that causes sternum pain is bouncing a barbell off the chest... otherwise it's a lung capacity thing.0

Back pain radiating to the chest or vice versa could have serious causes. Not knowing any specifics I'd suggest a medical evaluation.0
