I have recently had to tie my shoe laces and have bent over at least a 130 degree angle, has anybody else bent over this far before and how have they calculated the calories burnt? i am scared of not counting this into my daily TDEE, i ate a cake to make back my calories but the wife seems to think that everyday activities such as this should be mainly ignored
Is she right?
I sneezed an hour ago and don't know if i should ignore it or have a bag of crisps

Only count it if you sneezed while bending over and it lead to a shart.
ETA: That is what is known as a compound movement.0 -

will it work my core and stabilisers though? some big bloke in the gym who was taking a picture of himself in front of the mirror said if i don't work my core girl guides will come down on my *kitten*
I was going to laugh at him but he had a protein shake and a serious twitch that said bad *kitten*0 -

How did you measure the angle? I use a helmet with a protractor mounted on it and chalked string with a couple of washers tied to the other end.
Also, it works better if you log the angles in radians, then you can multiply by your body weight (in kilograms as measured on Mars) to get the calories burned.
Be sure to take video so you can check your form. You don't want to be one of the many who are laid up for months from a shoe-tying injury.0 -
