Picky Eater

So I am the pickiest eater ever...pretty much boils down to, if a 5 year old would eat it, so would I. Unfortunately, things like pizza and tacos don't fall off the body like they used to. I hit my late 20's and it has all caught up to me. I have a poor diet and now I have to work out 6 days a week like a machine just to maintain my weight, which is a little higher than I would like to admit. Any food ideas for picky eaters?

I'd provide suggestions...but what do you like as a picky eater?0

I suggest trying something new everyday. Eat more than just a few bites and give your tongue enough time to realize you like new things. I think you'll surprise yourself.0

My sister in law is the same way.
She only eats pizza, nachos and Caesar salad. She is pregnant now and unfortunately has not changed her eating habits. She justifies it by saying all the food groups are in these 3 foods.
I am glad to hear that you want to try and eat something different. I agree, try something different every day. You might be surprised how good things taste now compared to when you were little. Our taste buds change as we get older and you might even enjoy broccoli and asparagus (yes, I do love these veggies).
Good luck on your taste-buds adventure! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:0 -
oooo my hubby was a picky eater when we first met....he never tried broccoli or any real veggie...his veggies were ah...potatos, corn, and maybe a salad consisting of lettuce and tom...MAYBE!
I'd say try what I tried w/ him....start out slow like the others said....one new thing....try simple things like if you love pasta....try a few pieces of broccoli w/ like a dab of butter over some pasta....you may be suprised...or try a stir fry....sometimes you think a veggie will taste like how it looks raw....cooked veggies are great and taste totally different.
stir fries are what helped him a lot....even the chicken and shrimp...I started out really simple and NOW...omg I turned him into a monster...he's now mr. lets add this! lol...
don't give up, keep trying there is a lot of stuff you'll love out there!
Oh do you like cheese sauce....if you do I have a good recipe that is not too fattening and you might like to dip your veggies in it ...maybe! lol
hugs!
