Ballet

So, I started taking ballet classes a couple of times a week for the first time in my life. Not sure how to log it. It's generally slow movements in 90 minute sessions. The last 30 minutes of the class we work without the bar & move around a lot more. I've been logging the exercise as "slow dancing" since it's not as vigorous as professional ballet.
Any thoughts on this? How many calories it might burn? Have you taken ballet?
Also, I'm not very flexible... I can't touch my toes, and it's impossible to lift my leg higher than my hip when extended fully. Any tips on increasing flexibility?
Thanks all!

I do some ballet and we do a lot of stretching: I log this as yoga because it's not the same as just warm up/ cool down stretching. Then I add the rest of the class as a separate exercise and just log that as ballet.
You could log it as low impact aerobic too I guess0 -
Thanks! That's helpful. We don't do too much stretching in my class. Lots of plie's and releve's. I'm always sore all over afterwards, but it feels great!0
