Gastric sleeve patients

Hello, my name is john and i joined mfp to help monitor what i eat. I didn't realize how many other people on this site had gastric sleeves. i got mine mid last year and have since lost 50lbs. that hardest part is trying not to graze on snacks throughout the day. those with gastric sleeves feell free to add me lets motivate each other

    Hi John, I feel your pain. I am a grazer by nature. I had my "sleeve" in November of 2013. I find that while I am strict with what i eat at a sitting, my head feels like I still have to finish the meal, so I graze on it throughout the day until my next meal time, and then it starts all over again.
    I am reminding myself that hunger can mimic thirst, if I want to eat something I first drink something (most often water) and then I make myself wait 30 minutes and if I am still hungry I can eat something. Most often an hour will pass before I remember that I am "hungry". best of luck to you.
