I have an interesting question....
I am supposed to have 1200 calories a day, and I usually burn off 500 - 1000 extra a day being on my stationary bike.
Does that mean I should be eating at least 1700 calories a day? Or is the 1200 the minimum, regardless of how much I bike (which would be a net of 200 - 700 per day)? I don't want to hit starvation mode....but I feel great...so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing?

If your goal is 1200...your net should be 1200. So yes..you eat back your burned calories, since MFP sets you at a deficit even without exercise. That said...MFP calorie allowances for exercise are high. So either just eat 50-70% of them...or use a HRM to get accurate numbers. 1200 is very very low, though...you may want to consider a less stringent loss rate, so you get more calories to play with. I lost my weight here netting over 1600...relatively painlessly.0

1200 PLUS exercise calories!!!
ETA: If you aren't sure if your exercise cals are accurate, just eat a percentage back.0
