Will starting exercise stall my weight loss?

I'm sticking to counting calories and walking like a boss and losing at a great pace. I want to start couch to 5k soon but I'm worried if I do, somehow I'll retain that dreaded water weight and the scale won't show me what I wanna see. Do I have anything to worry about?

It did stall mine for a bit. HOWEVER I was losing inches and gotten a better shape. Also went back to losing same amount that I was losing before the exercise. You can lose a lot more while exercising by eating only healthy natural foods and fueling yourself before and after exercise... it will sky rocket your metabolism and do you a lot of good.0

You shouldn't just focus on what the scales are saying. I started properly exercising 2 weeks ago and scales are saying I am losing 1 lb a week instead of 2 now. I am not bothered because I can see a change in my body and measurements so it's definitely worth it.0

What's more important, achieveing real fitness and weight loss or avoiding a false reading from a set of scales?0

Why would a number on a scale be more important than fitness and health? Even if it does, you will have a logical explanation for the stall and would know that you're working towards being fit, not just lighter.0

Lose, maintain but just don't gain!0

I agree with everyone else. Just go ahead and do the exercise program and you will see REAL results in your health and fitness. You are not defined by the number on the scale.0

Get on with exercising and ignore this 'water weight' crap.0
