Body Fat % Goals, Macros to match

So as opposed to "weight loss" goals, I have BF% goals. Hoping to get into the 10-13% area.
My last caliper measurement was last year and came in at 21.74%
My feeling is I'm lower than that at this point, but I haven't been measured since.
Realizing that there are a number of factors that contribute to the ultimate result, I'm posting this specifically asking about macro splits to assist in achieving this, especially as I get closer to my goal.
My current settings are 35/25/40 (carb/fat/protein)
I don't always hit my macros, and if I am over, it's typically on Fat and Protein.
So does this macro split have anything to do with BF%? Or is it just a matter of continuing as I go?
Should I be trying harder to hit my fat macro to help out, or is this related at all?
Thanks all for your input.

I think your macros are fine. BF% will come down as fat is lost or muscle added. Given you are in a deficit, you're really not going to be adding any muscle - so that leaves fat loss as the goal while preserving all the muscle you currently have. Eat at a calorie deficit, hit your protein targets, do resistance training (weights). You are on your way - good luck!0

Awesome! Thanks for that... anyone else have any input?
Is it myth or truth that a diet higher in fat content (whether that be saturated or unsaturated fats) contributes more, less or the same to ultimate Body Fat content?
(assuming already that I am eating at a caloric deficit)

Especially when I'm looking at a BF% of 10-130
