How many calories should I be eating now ???

Hi I have lost the weight I wanted to loose by eating 1500/1600 and doing exercise and lifting :)) now I want to take the heavy lifting further and gain some nice muscles and burn fat but don't know how many more calories I need to eat ? Should I up to maintance which is 1990 on non lifting days and add 125 to that on lifting days?? Will I not gain fat tho? I don't mind weight as the scales are liARS!!! Heheh it's just so confusing can someone clear this up for me ? Or should I just stick to what I'm doing as I'm getting leaner my quads and *kitten* are growning nicely (or is it the fat that I'm burning ?) either way heeeelp!!
