Working out while sick

I have either a cold or the flu, that has decided to kick in today, which is fine because its my rest day and I am just sitting around reading. But do you work out when you are sick, or just take the days off to rest?

I am planning on just trying it out tomorrow and deciding what to do based on how I feel, but was wondering what other people's thoughts are...

  • How sick are you? If you work out at home, just ease up. If you go to the gym, stay home (so no one else gets sick!/) and do some mild stuff at home if you can.

Hmm, didn't think to include that, but yes I workout only at home. I don't think I'm very sick, just the standard sore throat, stuffed nose, sore body, no energy, etc.

I'll just go a bit easier tomorrow and see how it plays out.
