Stretch Marks & Mederma

I'm curious if anyone has ever used Mederma or Dr. Sheffields Scar Gel for stretch marks? Did it work/help and how long did it take? I have some Dr. Sheffield's Scar Gel but it's seems a little unrealistic at 88 cents per tube. But Mederma is expensive, and I'd like some feed back before spending so much money on it. Thanks!

Stretch marks are scars. No topical will rid you of them. In fact even surgery won't (however laser surgery can reduce their size in width).
The topicals help with camoflauge and moisturization which will help with elasticity of skin to reduce further overstretching of the skin.

I heard on the pregnancy websites "dry brushing" works. You will have to google it, essentially it's a way of exfoliating but the ladies swear by it.
