Eating before a workout

So, last night I slept in my workout clothes. This is my tactic so that I can get up and walk straight downstairs in the morning without much of a thought, throw on shoes and workout before I realize i'm too tired to do it. It worked this morning and I was working out by 6:00am. However, I had not eaten or drank anything prior to the workout and I thought I was going to throw 3x during the workout and for a long time after.
I'm not a HUGE morning eater, but what are some suggestions that I can eat basically 5 minutes or less before a workout that won't cause an issue for my stomach, but that is also enough to subside the puking feeling from over exertion on an empty stomach.
AFTER my workout I drink the R&R formula while I shower and then about an hour later I eat an orange.
Any suggestions as to what works for anyone who eats minutes prior to a workout in the morning would be awesome!

Eating 5 mins before your workout isn't really going to make any difference one way or another.... but if you want something to sit in your stomach that's not going to make you puke, you could try eating 1/2 a banana.
I used to play 5 sets of tennis and munched many a banana mid-match without messing up my stomach, so maybe it's worth a try.
You'll probably find that you adapt to fasted training quite rapidly if you stick with it for a few more days though...0 -
I'm usually not to bad on an empty stomach! I'm not sure what happened this morning BUT, I was dehydrated so I'm thinking that might have something to do with. I would prefer to work out on empty to be honest, but don't want that feeling again either. I'll make sure I hydrate myself really well and see how tomorrow morning goes! thanks!0

I occasionally do morning workouts with a trainer so I eat a banana or some yogurt about a half-hour beforehand.0

that goes away after a while. it usually takes me about 2 weeks to get over it- but you do get over it.

I work out at the end of 24 hour intermittent fasts and I noticed the first couple times my stomach was pretty angry. After the first couple times that went away. I notice that my energy drains faster but other than that I don't see any issues like that anymore. Give it another couple of tries. If you see it still happening try maybe like a couple slices of turkey on one slice of bread for a quick half sandwich or something.0

UPDATE: was MUCH better this morning! Maybe had to do with being dehydrated from the night before. I felt spent (but that's typical) but not queasy at all. Thankgod....0
