How do you manage to not make that sound like a bestiality reference?
I need to spend more time in these forums. Mad skills going on here.0 -

You are correct.
I tried to make a reference to "dogs", but it just sounded like some gross interspecies experiment. So ashamed.

I love Jack Russells. They're so madly energetic.
My dog is a Jack Russell cross, her mother was a Staffie... I call her a "Jackie"0 -

Madly energetic, inquisitive and most of all so affectionate. His favorite things to do are to snuggle with me or play with a ball. I love him to pieces0 -
My puppy died yesterday morning. She was still my puppy, even though she was 14. I actually just looked out the window, since my eye caught a flash, and I thought she was out there playing for a second. I'm really going to miss her, but I'm glad she passed peacefully in her sleep, without pain, without getting sick, lying in her favorite spot.

Oh no, I'm sorry :frown:
She had a long life, though, that's wonderful. And she's gorgeous, of course!

summertime_girl--so sorry to hear about your pup. They become members of our family after a while, and we treat them as our kiddos (except with a lot of the crying).
Here is our beagle-doberman mix that we adopted from a beagle rescue organization about 7 years ago. We're not exactly sure what age he is.
