How often should you incorporate yoga or pilates during the

I don't practice yoga much at all but hear such good things about it...I've done it on occasion and kinda like it. However, between fitting in cardio and strength training when should you do yoga? There is no way I can devote 7 days to doing one of the three activities. A rest day or 2 is a must!

  • I have been doing Winsor Pilates, I do three days a week, that is what the company recommends. So I do Mon, wed, and fridays. on the days that I dont do my pilates I go walking.

    I try to do yoga every day, but that's because I'm doing a few basic moves to relieve stress more than using it as a workout. Maybe you could find some easy moves to increase your flexibility to incorporate into you cool down/stretch?

    I try to fit in 30 mins (a beginners Pilates DVD) every day, more - as someone else said - as a stress buster than anything. If I don't make it to the gym then I do a further 30 minute DVD of more intense Pilates. Every little helps!
