Any advice for re-focusing after a vacation?

I started doing MFP seriously back in September of last year. I've been dedicated and focused and have had great success....

In January, I went to Mexico for 2 weeks to visit family and since I've been back I have found it SO difficult to re-focus. Today I have decided to *start again* - this will be part 2 to the journey. (I'm about halfway to my goal so this is the perfect time.)

I'm planning on re-setting my Polar Watch Heart Rate Monitor as well and erase all my exercise history and goals and start brand new.

I don't know if this will give me the burst of motivation I need to re-focus myself but it's worth a try!

Anyone have any advice? How have you gotten back on track again after a few weeks?

This may sound silly...but, I look myself in the eye in the mirror and say out loud, "I am 100% committed today!"

Congrats on the success you've had so far. You can do it!

It sounds like you are taking the right steps in that direction, so keep it up! I did the same thing after vacation last year and I am just now starting to really get back into a groove. Good luck!
