out of proportion waist size

Hi - wondered if anyone else is experiencing problems in reducing waist size? weight loss is going ok, I've increased exercise and been going to the gym for 5 weeks with focussed workouts, with nice reductions in hip and thigh size, but waist size isn't moving. I'm well into my fifties, still needing to lose at least another 50 lbs. Has anyone else experienced this? if so, how did you resolve it please? :flowerforyou:

I am in the middle of something similar right now. I have very narrow hips and a 25-inch waist, and it is refusing to get smaller. It makes me look out of proportion. I'd love to see others' advice for this issue.0

Just remember that you absolutely CAN NOT spot reduce! Your waist will get smaller as the weight comes off, everyone's bodies handle weight loss differently. Try to focus on the big picture and be confident that the inches are coming off all over your body.0
