Serious Journey Back To Health (51/M) 100+ Loss Goal

Yep, You read that correct. I am a 51 year old male with a goal of losing over 100 pounds. I have been fit before, very fit and somehow, I just let it go. I was a mountain bike racer at age 44. Placing 2nd in age group racing for the entire state of TX for a series. I raced at 203lbs. I did short races (less than 20 miles), marathons (30-40 miles) as well as endurance events (60-100 miles). However, I broke my wrist 2x, cracked a finger and severly jammed a thumb.

Then came divorce, job stress, a move across country, bad habits, no exercise, indulgement and stress eating. Add a new found love of wine and it led to a serious increase in weight.

I started at 326.6

To date, I am at 3.08.8

I am eating better using the Fat Flush Plan, Very limited alcholol. Using short bike rides and walking for aerobic exercise and a 25lb kettlebell for strenth training.

Look forward to discuss our journey!

Congrats on starting your journey! This place offers a lot of support. I have about 130 pounds to lose so I can relate. It sounds like you have a good plan.
