Questions for binge eaters

These are two questions that have been helping me a lot this week. I wrote about them and it helped to prevent binging. Thought I'd share.

1. Does feeling "stressed" ever make you want to eat? Think of the last time you were stressed out and try to drill down to a deeper, more specific emotion you might have been feeling: Were you feeling overwhelmed? Overworked? Angry?

2. Make a list of at least five emotions or situations that you believe may trigger your bingers. Next to each one, write a strategy that you could use instead of food to soothe, relieve, or help you deal with that emotion.
