I wish MFP had a real recipe box....

I wish the recipe calculator was more of a real recipe box. Something where I could not only enter my ingredients but also the cooking instructions. Then I would have a one stop shop and something I could easily share with others. I hate having to do double entry or referencing 2 spots for one recipe. :(

I also wished for this. Last year MFP had a recipe box, but it was labor intensive.
After you entered your recipe in the recipe calculator, if a person wanted to share the recipe, It had to be entered again.
There were recipe's there, but I did not care to enter my recipe twice. I think the calculation should be part of the recipe.

no kidding, it would be great if we could hop in and say here is what I'm allowed to have per serving, show me some options. Would totally make my day.

That is the one thing I like about Sparkpeople, the ability to share recipes.

Has anyone noticed that you're not now able to import a recipe (that's in your own personal recipe box) into your food dairy? I've been using my own recipes that I've spent days importing into MFP, and now I can't import them. They've changed the recipes tab, supposedly making it easy to "log it", but so far, I can't tell that it's a good change, since it won't "log it" where I want it.
