Need insight on the ARC Trainer

Has anyone used an ARC Trainer? I joined my local Y in January and recently tried this machine. Actually there are two different ones. One has stationary arms and the other one has moving arms. I tried each of them on separate days. I don’t know if I would pick one over the other. I really, really liked both machines! It seemed easier on my legs than the treadmill or some of the elliptical machines. I want to try some of the workouts because I really don’t know what settings I should use since this is new to me. Anyone here have any experience with these machines or words of wisdom to share?

I've worked out on them several times, but have never used the programs because I do my own. I usually do a "Tabata" type workout (full out 20 seconds, 10 second slow down then repeat for a total of 8 cycles) or just do manual and switch it how I want to.
But once you plug in your stats, then picking a program and level that you can do will automatically adjust the machine.
