high protein meals?

Hi!
what are some high protien meals with little or no carbs? I want something that will make me full and keep me full. What have you tried? What works for you?

    Why are you avoiding carbs?

    i try to avoid obvious carbs (bread, potatoes, rice, cookies, muffins etc) So staying between 50 - 100 gms a day.

    you can do meat and all kinds of veggies, cheese, salads. Mashed cauliflower is a great substitute for potatoes....didn't fool my kids though!
  • Breakfast: omelet with cheese and fresh red pepper, cilantro, and garlic, with sour cream on the side and three slices of crisp microwaved turkey bacon. Add a little milk to the eggs for more protein...I don't use flour cuz the omelet holds together fine.

    I like to get the Margarita Grill chicken at Chilis, which has perfectly grilled chicken breats and black beans. I get something else instead of the rice, like salad or broccoli.

    There's really no such thing as a "no carb" meal unless you're eating plain protein.

    Meals that are healthy, lower in carbs and fat are easy. Stick to a grilled or baked unbreaded protein (steak, chicken, shellfish, etc.) and non-starchy vegetables. Have sliced grilled chicken on a big, green salad. Or steamed tilapia and broccoli. Or a lean hamburger patty with a slice of cheese and some salsa on top with mixed veggies on the side. Or stir fry veggies with shrimp. The possibilities are endless.

    Chilli

    The biggest problem with low carbs I find is the side dish, if you can get away with only meat and cheese your golden.

    My breakfast was 47 grams of protein, my lunch was 54 grams of protein. Diary is open, add me if you wish!
