Is there an 'over 400' group that I'm missing?

Because that would be great to have support from someone who actually knows what you're going through...

Not to my knowledge, but you could always start one.

I've seen an over 300 group that might be something that might suit you? Or as hroush shared, you sure can start one :) That's how all the threads begin, someone starts one up and others jump in and begin sharing :)

    Good luck!
  • If you put 400 lbs into the search here in the forums you will find a lot of posts from others who have, or have had, similar issues. Read the collective wisdom of the crowd in there and then send some messages to those whose experience matches yours or whose advice / approach appeals to you.

You should then be able to build a set of friends who really know about th eproblems of the XXXXXXX world ..

Starting point fill out your details honestly and set your target at 2 lbs a week look at the calories you should be eating - they will probably be more than you expect - use the diary and do not undershoot your target calories.

If you have other issues you can select what to track e.g. diabetes/blood sugar issues track sugar - high blood pressure make sure you track sodium.

One last bit of advice if I may - I'm guessing you will not be sleeping too well - most of us really big people have a degree of breathing problems - if so try sleeping in your favourite chair instead. The exhaustion that can come from very poor sleep makes others things very hard.

I hope this place works for you
