I tried searching for this but no results. How do I log this exercise?

I just log the cumulative amount of time I spend at each speed separately, but I'm also doing TDEE so I'm not worried how much I burn, just tracking my progress.

I usually log the average speed of the entire session.

I do the same. I try to keep track of how long each interval is, how may I do, and at which speeds.

    For example:

    Warm up/Cool down - 10 min @ 3.0 mph (5 min each)
    Intervals - 8 min @ 5.0 mph (8, 60 second intervals)
    12 min @ 3.5 mph (8, 90 second intervals)

I just calculate the total time for each speed and enter it into MFP.
  • I create my own exercise. For example today I did speed work: 2 min @6 mph; 30 sec. @8.2 mph for 25 min and a 5 min. cool for a total of 30 min. I then put the total amount of calories "burned" based on this workout.
