Experimenting!

Joined the site out of a combination of desire to lose some weight and curiosity about how many calories I actually consume in a day. Was astonished to find that when I eat three meals a day and cut out snacks, my total calories come up as under 1200! (At least this has been the case for the last couple of days). Obviously I have no way to test the precise accuracy of this as I only know the approximate amount of most of the ingredients I use in cooking, but doubt that it is out by too far. Am curious to see how this continues; should be interesting!
