Fitness (stage) Competitions

Does anyone here compete? Anyone thinking about competing in the future?
I have lifted since high school, started going really heavy in the last two years, and got a fitness coach last year. When I completed my first cut, she indicated I might want to try competing in a Bikini level comp. I'd always viewed myself as more of a Figure personality and build, but I'd like to try either at least once.
Any like-minded people here? I'd love to broaden my support network and community.

I'm working on it- I've done some dabbling via photo shoots- there is one coming in the summer- early early fall that I'm seriously considering.
I'm a big toss up between physic and powerlifting- but right now for various reasons I'm leaning toward the stage rather than the plateform! But eitherway- I dabble- I'm here.0 -
YAY!
And you're my age! Powerlifting seems amazing, but scares me away b/c I'd hate to injure myself in the name of competition. Which competition are you looking at? There's one local to me that is on my birthday this year, but it's a BIG one and I'd be pushing it to get there at this point.0 -
I don't know the name of it- I just know it's coming- I have to check- my old gym- there is a trainer there- and he has some girls going- and I first heard of it through my new gym- one of the guys is going. I'll find out.
One of the girls did it at my old gym- she went through a coach- I don't have time for that- I don't want to be part of a team- but I think I can do it on my own- maybe not 100% successfully but I am pretty confident I can make the way on my own. I may not win but I can do it I think.
I have probably 15-30 lbs to lose if I really want to be competitive- I'm still solid in teh 20's- and since I'm bulking- I'm really high. LOL
Powerlifting is fun- but it's definitely intensive- I'm sad I had to turn down the meet that's coming up in 2 weeks. Just bad timing for me.0 -

I competed in figure in 2012. I'm probably will not again. If I do it won't be for awhile.0 -
I just started a month ago! Im shooting for June-July. Ive been lifting forever, I just made the decision to go heavier, and further with it. Just wanted to check it off of my bucket list.0
